Car Accident

So yesterday, I got to hang with a really fun friend. We went to the beach at Cronulla, and had a picnic, and Zac got to play on the playground. It was so nice to have fun with a fellow American expat! We had so much in common as women and as Americans. It was so theraputic to just know someone is going through some of the same things. The beach is so gorgeous. I would absolutely treasure life if I lived on the beach. We went and checked out an apartment that is going to rent for a lower amount because the balcany is being redone. I wanted it so bad, even with the inconvenience, but I just can't pull it off. I didn't have our applications ready for the inspection, and now it seems to be taken. After we left, we were on the way to Stan's work, when a rogue pedestrian decided to walk in front of us, and I got rear-ended by the van behind us. My lack of actual anxiety really surprised me. I think to my new friend I probably appeared relatively anxious compared to most people, but to me, I could tell I was pretty calm. I was majorly confused about how it works over here, and didn't know how to do anything. I had to call Stan to the scene, however, I was more concerned with my little Zac than anything, and that took up all my thought process. Thanks to Sam for coming through and helping me keep him wrangled while the other driver was talking to me. I truly appreciate it! We've been through trauma together now. I think that makes us friends for life! LOL
